Tarik Muhtaseb, Esq.

Bio

Tarik Muhtaseb is an attorney at the Sargent Law Firm. He attended undergrad at University of California Riverside, and obtained his juris doctorate from Southwestern Law School. He has experience in various practice areas. During law school, he was a summer associate at a transaction advisory department of a Singaporean Law Firm where he represented major buy side clients on their acquisitions and buyout deals. In 2015, he volunteered as a Law Clerk at the Riverside County Public Defender’s Office in the representation of indigent clients in criminal court proceedings and dispositions. He has also worked in insurance defense, as well as managed complex and high exposure civil litigation involving primarily personal injury, wrongful death, contractual disputes, and construction defect for a large defense firm. Tarik’s experience working with, and for, large insurance companies gives him insider knowledge into how they operate, and enables him to obtain better results for our clients.

Working as a plaintiff’s attorney in personal injury law has shown Tarik that an injury affects more than the injured person, it affects their family, friends, workplaces, and communities. By helping those who are injured, Tarik knows that he is also helping everyone in that person’s life.

Outside of the office, you will most likely find Tarik hiking, camping, or traveling with family.
